2001-2002 5/8" allison transmission cooler hose set #50100

Product Description

(RECOMMENDED FOR APPLICATIONS REQUIRING HIGHER FLOW THAN NORMAL. Examples: heavy towing, chipped ecu, larger turbo, propane injection, or modified transmission.)

This is a fix for the commonly leaking transmission cooler hoses for 2001-2002 chevy, and gmc trucks equipped with the allison 1000 transmission behind either the 6.6 liter duramax, or the 8.1 liter gas engine. These are made out of 5/8" id double braid hydraulic hose, rated for 1900 psi working pressure, and 7600 psi burst pressure. These hoses will handle the pressure, and temperature that the factory hoses will not. I have been building these for customer's vehicles since june 2009, with no issues whatsoever. Included is everything to make the conversion possible, except for the tools. I also included detailed instructions, which includes a list of required tools to perform the job properly.

Processing time for the 5/8" sets should take 2-3 days.

I had installed a few of these kits when I was working at a local GM dealer. They are better built than the factory lines in my opinion, and certainly a lot easier to install. When my father in law's D-max needed cooler lines, I knew right where to go. I would certainly recommend these lines to anyone who has a Allison transmission diesel or gas application.
